I get 500 words to tell you about myself?
First, I need to say, that I am a Christian. I believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I try daily to live like him. Of course, there was a time in my life even though I expressed faith in Jesus you wouldn’t be able to tell. I lived a pretty terrible life once. Those choices I made in my life are what lead me to a 19-year prison sentence. Because of my poor choices, I lost custody of my son, Zachary. I’ve not seen him or spoken to him in nearly 11 years. But I believe that’s about to change.
I don’t really want to dwell on the past, but without the past I wouldn’t have the future that I do.
I needed prison as much as I hate to say that, prison taught me a lot. Like, how to keep a job even when the people you work with are difficult people. How to work for little amounts, for about 4 years, I worked for $10 a month, which has helped me budget. Prison has helped me realize that I can be happy and healthy with very little. Prior to prison, I didn’t have many skills now, I can; drive a forklift, roof a house, put siding on a house, hang dry wall, use an electric palette jack, and much more. My plan is to someday start on non-profit using some of the skills I learned in prison. I would also like to change the prison culture. Basically, I learned how to be a better, son, person, man.
Somethings I enjoy, watching the Seattle Mariners, the Seahawks, listening to music, watching T.V., going to yard, and writing letters. Since I’m from Oregon, I’m naturally an Oregon Ducks fan.
I enjoy all types of music, I have artist from the 1950’s on up. From Country to Rock, from Metal to Jazz, and probably everything in between. You don’t have to be a Christian to write me but please understand that I am a Christian. The Lord has blessed my abundantly, I can’t turn my back on him again. Well, I’m short of the 500 words but, I need to leave a few things to talk about in my letters. Bye.
